Cryolipolysis, or Cryo Sculpting, uses cold temperatures to break down targeted areas of fat cells. This procedure developed from the noticings of a doctor in the ’70s. Seeing what appeared as fat degradation in the cheeks of children who enjoyed sucking on ice chips sparked research into the correlation between fat loss and exposure to extremely cold temperatures. This research has developed into what we today call Cyrolipolysis.
As a non-invasive procedure, Cryo Sculpting destroys the targeted fat cells so you do not have to worry about them regenerating. By exposing targeted areas of fat to freezing temperatures the fat cells are deadened and then safely flushed from the body through the liver, resulting in targeted fat loss that is seen in 1–3 months.
Cryo Sculpting is a wonderful tool to add to your existing training regimen to aid in the reduction of small, targeted areas of stubborn fat. For the best results, we recommend 4 sessions, each requiring only 15 minutes.
This procedure is best for:
Most patients find the process easily tolerable. Certain phases of the procedure may cause some amount of discomfort. This includes some moderate tugging and stretching of the skin, and localized feelings of intense cold before numbness sets in. However, the majority of patients do not describe these feelings as “painful”.
You will start to see results as soon as your body begins to discard the frozen cells. It is possible to see some noticeable differences around 21 days after the treatment, but the most apparent changes will be visible after around 60 days. This can continue for about 6 months total, as your body will continue to remove the dead cells over a continuous period. This timeline is not guaranteed, as different bodies may experience the changes differently.
Cryo Sculpting is most effective at removing pockets of fat that are difficult to target with diet and exercise. However, the process should not be thought of as a general weight loss solution, as it is designed to target smaller pockets of fat, not total fat around the whole body. Ideally, a patient should be within a reasonable range of their ideal weight, so that their skin will have enough elasticity to tighten over their slimmer figure when the process is completed.
CryoSkin services utilize a temperature-controlled massage wand to apply cold and heat to the face and/or body to stimulate and facilitate natural body processes which promote a slimmer, more toned appearance. The technology is applied using a massage technique, which is painless and non-invasive, and safe.
Why use Cryoskin?
Cryoskin can be tailored to your body shape to help you create the body you want. We recommend starting with a consultation to determine the best treatments for you. Depending on what you want to achieve, Cryoskin has 3 treatment types:
How long are Cryoskin treatments?
The treatment lasts 20-60 minutes depending on the desired area and treatment type.
How often can I get treatments?
Cryo treatments can be performed once every 14 days and CryoToning and Cryo Facial treatments can be performed every 3-7 days.

We will help you achieve your body goals with our services with a plan tailored just for you.
Cryoskin and Coolsculpting are both non-invasive body contouring treatments, but they differ in several key ways:
– Technology: Cryoskin uses a combination of heat and cold to target fat cells, while CoolSculpting uses controlled cooling to freeze and destroy fat cells.
– Treatment Duration: Cryoskin sessions are typically shorter, lasting around 30-40 minutes, while CoolSculpting sessions can last up to an hour or more.
– Temperature: Cryoskin treatments involve a wider temperature range, including a hot phase and a cold phase, whereas CoolSculpting focuses solely on cold temperatures.
– Target Areas: Cryoskin can target smaller, hard-to-reach areas, while CoolSculpting is designed for larger treatment areas.
– Results and Sessions: Cryoskin often requires fewer sessions to achieve results compared to CoolSculpting, which may require multiple sessions.
– Side Effects: Some users report a milder level of discomfort with Cryoskin compared to CoolSculpting, which may cause more intense sensations during treatment.
Cryoskin is a non-invasive body contouring and skin toning treatment that uses the application of cold temperatures to enhance the body’s natural processes.
Cryoskin works by using the principles of cryotherapy to freeze and eliminate localized fat cells, stimulate collagen production, and improve skin texture and elasticity.
Cryoskin can be used to target specific areas of the body, including the abdomen, thighs, arms, back, and buttocks, to reduce fat and improve skin texture.
When performed by a trained and certified professional, Cryoskin is considered safe. However, as with any cosmetic procedure, there are potential risks and side effects that should be discussed with the provider beforehand.
A typical Cryoskin session lasts between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on the specific areas being treated and the individual’s treatment plan.
Most individuals begin to see results after just one Cryoskin session, but a series of treatments (usually 5-10 sessions) is recommended for optimal and long-lasting results.
Common side effects of Cryoskin treatment may include temporary redness, numbness, or tingling in the treated area. These effects typically subside quickly after the session.
There is no downtime required after Cryoskin treatment, and individuals can resume their normal activities immediately following a session.
Cryoskin treatment offers benefits such as fat reduction, cellulite reduction, skin tightening, improved blood circulation, and a more contoured and toned appearance.
Pregnant women may not use Cryoskin, if you are breastfeeding you may get a Cryoskin facial, but can not do Cryoskin body treatments.
